A pretty penny
Starting off with a tube television, times have changed in a vast way. Going from tubes, to flat screens, to HD televisions. After these innovations, the next thing to become excitingly popular were projectors. Projectors were created during a time before flatscreens were made but didn't become extremely popular as they have. The next step for projectors could only be having a HD output, subsequently making them a competitor against televisions. Well now projectors may be getting an upgrade in upcoming months. Sony has created a 4K home cinema projector to help clear up the picture even more. Don't get too excited because it might just cost may just steer you away. Check the story out here.

An Electric Sports Car?
Brakes are the most important aspect of a vehicle. So when Chevy creates a regenerative brake, it becomes a big deal. The Chevy Volt has been the ability to use the same motor that propels you also slows you down. This feature is activated when letting your foot off the gas, taking energy from the motor, making you slow down. This makes driving a bit safer as you still need to use the regular breaks to make a full stop. This in an electric could only lead to less accidents with this particular model. Here's the rest of the story.

Times becoming simple
Things like a diabetic injecting insulin could possibly be the future for some people. Some genius' at Cambridge got the idea to make an Auto-Injector for people with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Multiple Sclerosis. This new model may soon revolutionize "Flexi-Ject". Check out the work they did.
User Based
It seems to me that Mechanical Engineering is becoming a bit more easier and user based. Something as small as a remote control for a fan being made today in the common household could possibly turn into something much bigger. Just think a television or speakers, being made at home. If more everyday household electronics become more accessible to being made at home what could happen to the market?

Why don't we just blow some wind?
Everyone is currently worrying more and more about what will be our next power source, with every passing day. The fact of the matter is we still do not know. Maybe, though, our new source for energy has been right in front of our faces. We have always had the use of wind power at our disposal but will that be enough to power the everyday needs of American nationwide? I don't have the answer to that question but I do have an opinion on the subject matter. People are so wound up trying to figure out how to keep their luxurious lives but with a different energy source. If people need to give up certain things then why would it be so difficult. Read more about the story here though.
